OSHIOMHOLE WAS ASKED TO REVERSE OKECHUKWU'S SUSPENSION

  Enugu Ward leaders of the APC (All Progressives Congress), in Eke, Udi local government area of Enugu state has ordered the party’s National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole to quickly reverse the purported suspension from party of the Director General of Voice of Nigeria, Mr Adams Oshiomhole.

  The ward leaders contended that Okechukwu’s suspension was done in bad fate and contrary to the provision of the party’s constitution.

    In a ward Executive meeting at Eke on Sunday, the party stalwarts passed a vote of confidence on Okechukwu and described him as a true, consistent and principled APC man whose contributions to the growth of APC in Enugu State was yet to be equaled.

    Chairman of the ward, Chief Philip Egechukwu and 26 other members of the ward executive said that the purported suspension has created an impression that the reward for nursing the party in Enugu State was suspension. 

   Ugwuanyi resumes campaign ahead of March 9 guber poll They said: “Mr. Osita Okechukwu is not only a registered member of the APC, Eke Ward, but also the major life wire of the APC who has nursed the party both in Eke Ward, Udi L.G.A and Enugu State in general. 

   “There was no report of Anti-party activities against Okechukwu presented to the ward Executive nor did the ward Executive or any member of the ward make any report of anti-party activities against him to any other higher organ of the party either atthe Local Government, State or Federal levels. 

   Some days before the February 23rd Presidential and National Assembly Elections, Mr. Osita Okechukwu had campaigned vigorously for the APC and mobilized resources for the prosecution of the election both in Eke Ward, Udi L.G.A and Enugu State. We have asked our major sustainer, Mr. Osita Okechukwu, whether he was queried or confronted with any allegation/complaint and he said no, therefore we are at a loss as to how a foundation member and member of the merger committee that midwifed our great party can be suspended without fair hearing. 

   Consequently APC Eke Ward hereby passed a vote of unreserved confidence on Mr. Osita Okechukwu, D.G. VON as a true, consistent and principled APC man whose contributions to the growth of APC in Enugu State is yet to be equaled.
